'DEALING WITH SIN'
* Sin: What does the Qur'an say?
Quite a number of different Arabic terms are used in the Qur'an that
are rendered, in English, as "sin". We study their meanings and
implications.
* "Greater" sins and "lesser" sins"?
The term "greater sins" that occurs in the Qur'an was reflected both in us today?
* What to do about sin?
We look into theological concepts of sin as well as consequences, repentance, restoring the balance & forgiveness.

Jewish/Muslim Dialogue Text-Based Workshop:
'POETIC TRADITIONS OF REMEMBERING THE DIVINE'
Matters
of the heart are often expressed in poetry. This includes prayer and
meditation, both inside a liturgical or ritual framework and beyond.
Far
from even thinking about being able to give a complete overview over
these treasures in our tradition, we will explore some examples for
texts from Jewish and Muslim sources:
- Asking God for help and sustenance
- Asking for forgiveness
- Complaining to God
- Praising God
- Love and Longing
